Juni naht und es wird Zeit Euch mal mit ein bischen Background-Info zu versorgen: Als erstes Mal, damit Ihr sie auch entsprechend anfeuern koennt - die Ghana Nationalmannschaft wird "Black Stars" genannt. Ja, hoert sich ein bischen kitschig an aber liegt hoechst wahrscheinlich einfach Mal am schwarzen Stern auf der ghanaischen Flagge!


Das "U17" Team der Mannschaft hat uebrigens schon zweimal die Junioren WM gewonnen (1991, 1995) und war zwei weitere Male im Finale (1993, 1997). Nur Brasilien hat bisher oefter (naemlich 3mal) gewonnen.

For those who still don't know it, I'm the first time really excited about the world cup: The Ghana national football team, or the Black Stars (probably due to the black star on their flag), will make his first appearance at the world cup this year. They already had great success on the youth level, winning the World Under-17 title twice (1991, 1995), and finishing second at the World Youth Championship twice as well.

So, keep your fingers crossed with me:

Dinner am Strand

Bevor uns die Routine packt haben wir uns gestern nach der Arbeit aufgemacht und sind mal wieder nach Fanore - diesmal aber sozusagen zum Abendessen, erst natuerlich ein kurzer (2-stuendiger) Surf fuer Vince und dann Dinner mit Sonnenuntergang im Bulli. Was soll ich sagen, lasst Euch nicht vom Alltagstrott einholen - es gibt so geniale Sachen, die man machen kann!

Yesterday we went to Fanore after work for Dinner with Sunset (well, after 2 hours of Surf for Vince and 2 hours of beach walk and reading for me). Was a great break form everyday life with dinner in the kitchen! Don't let the routine get you!
